We are delighted to inform you that following the recent Ofsted inspection, Minehead First School has been graded ‘Good’. The inspectors concluded that Minehead First is GOOD in all areas: Quality of Education, Behaviour and Attitudes, Personal Development, Leadership and Management and Early Years, resulting in an Overall Effectiveness of GOOD for the School.
The Ofsted inspection was thorough and robust, and we are very pleased that the hard work undertaken by all in the school community has been recognised.
We are thrilled to see that our new school values have shone through. Inspectors noted that ‘Pupils live up to the school’s values such as community, ambition and respect and that relationships between staff and pupils are warm and respectful’. Inspectors also recognised that expectations are high, and that the quality of education is underpinned by an ambitious and effectively structured curriculum, starting from our youngest pupils in Preschool.
