Pre School education lays the foundations for your child’s school career. We spend time developing each child’s independence, confidence, resilience and curiosity. Our vision at Minehead Pre School is to welcome every child and their family into a safe and nurturing environment, where they are immersed in a captivating curriculum, that lays the foundations for each child to be a confident, lifelong learner.
We work closely with Minehead First School, providing children with a seamless transition into children's first year at school. Both Pre School and Reception are managed by myself and staff work across both settings, to support the children in their transition into school. We pride ourselves on having kind and nurturing staff.

At Minehead Pre School we use Tapestry Online Learning Journals to record your child's learning and development. As Parents/Guardians you are able to see what your child has been learning about in Pre School on a daily basis and also add your own observations and adventures with your child.
