Our school lunches are prepared on-site by our catering team lead by Molly Studley, who prepare fresh exciting meals on a three weekly rota which is updated half termly. The cost of a school lunch is £2.60 per day which is payable in advance at the school office or on Parentmail.
All children in KS1 are entitled to a free lunch under the current Universal Infant Free School Meal scheme. We can offer a choice of a hot meal including a vegetarian option and an extensive salad bar.
Alternatively, children may bring a packed lunch to eat in the dining room. These should be brought to school in strong containers clearly marked with the child’s name. Packed lunches should provide a balanced meal. Drinks should be brought in unbreakable flasks, again clearly marked with the child’s name. Sweets or other confectionary are not considered appropriate as part of a packed lunch.
Please be aware that we are a nut free school - this means that we have some children in school with severe nut allergies. Please check the packaging of your food very carefully. Prohibited food includes: chocolate hazelnut spreads, cereal bars, other nut spreads to name a few. We take this very seriously here in school and will confiscate any items that contain nuts.
